Extreme Changes For The Extreme Ezine
By Brian Hawkins
on May 27, 2008 in Ezine News
Five years of online business has grown to over two dozen sites of which eleven are Blogs, three newsletters over a hundred domains and countless joint ventures. We have enjoyed success and endured failure but it has always been fun. Since we is me, meaning I’m a one member band, I’ve decided to trim my work load down. In fact, I’m going to trim off a slim piece and toss what’s left.
The Extreme Ezine will be one of just a few sites I’ll keep. I plan to focus the majority of my online time to the Extreme Ezine and work on improvements, content and readership. The joke sites - gone, the internet marketing sites - gone. Also gone are the video AdSense sites, the eBay sites and every niche site I’ve built.
Why the extreme changes?
Why the extreme changes? Easy question, time! It takes up too much time to run that many projects and as I get older I realize I’d better start spending more time with family while I have time to spend.
There will also be a few changes with the Extreme Ezine too. I’ll be posting much more content on the blog and publishing many more issues of the ezine. Not everything will go out in the Ezine so don’t forget to subscribe to our feed. One change of the ezine will upset a few people but it’s necessary. We will no longer offer free downloads with each issue. When I find something of value and have the rights to give it away I’ll do so but the subscribers area and free downloads are a thing of the past. It was a tough decision but I want subscribers that stay for the content and free download sites are everywhere you look. The site we used to deliver the downloads will also shut down.
What stays?
What stays? So far I’m keeping our free Ad Tracking and short URL site. I’ll keep our corporate site up and a personal blog. Everything else will more than likely be pulled.
Need a site or domain?
Need a site or domain? Like I mentioned, I have over a hundred domains and I’m willing to sell most of them. Eventually I’ll put them up for sale officially but if something interests you now feel free to make an offer.
Thank You!
I would like to thank our subscribers and readers. Many of you have been with use for years and I truly appreciate each and every one of you. It’s folks like you that made it impossible to walk away from the Extreme Ezine.

Even though I first discovered you at the start of this year I love and appreciate your work. I definitely can understand your reasons though. But I will miss CheapAzz. Ok I will miss typing it, for some reason it cracks me up. Good luck on the changes.

Brian, checking to see what you did with the sites and domains you retired. What do you have you would be interested in selling?
Please email me…

Hi Ron, I do plan on selling many of the domains. Eventually I’ll find the time to sort it all out and then I’ll list them on this site. If you have your eye on a certain domain feel free to make an offer. I have a HelpDesk here http://help.csc4u.com/

Final coffin nails?
I suspect their is some regret. No doubt the real reason was you couldn’t pull a profit. And these days its a good guess all your costs could easily go in the gas tank.
I stopped checking Wholesale Right Weekly because the offering sucked so hard.
Then again after 5 years you would think you would have learned to uses Paypal’s encrypted buy buttons instead of that javascript “paypal security” that allows anyone to see your download link in 5 seconds.
Maybe that was why no one was buying even if you had offerend something someone would want…
enjoy all the extra time with the time with the fam…

Hi surprised, That’s funny. Stand back and throw rocks from the shadows and still can’t hit your target. Wrong on both accounts. I play fair here so there’s no need to be scared. Really, Fake name, fake email and no website?
